I can't believe I'm finally saying this, but I've finished college. The feeling is rather surreal and a little intimidating. I feel like a dog chasing its tale—I've been working toward this for years and now that it's here ... now what?
To refresh everyone's memory, I've completed my Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media from Bradley University. My official graduation date is August, so no diploma until then, but all the work is done. I've started the adventure of searching out the "perfect job." For the time, I'm going to hang around Peoria (much to my girlfriend's relief) and work part time at The Iona Group.
I'll admit I'm not 100% sure how to go about this time of my life. I've been asked a few times if I've been enjoying my summer break. The answer is both "yes" and "no." Yes because I'm so thankful to be done with school. I don't think that can be reiterated enough. No, because I don't know what I should be doing right now. Without a full-time job or school work to worry about, I don't have many responsibilities. I don't want to be wasting my time but I really just don't have anything to do right now. I'm not very good at relaxing for days at a time. Apparently I'm not very good at searching for full-time jobs either.
